If you have a high temperature of 37.8 degrees or more, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste you must self isolate at home for 7 days and try to avoid contact with other people.  If you live with other people, they should stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person got symptoms.

Anyone with the above symptoms who is WELL should stay at home and does not need to contact 111.

Anyone with the above symptoms who is UNWELL should refer to 111 online for further advice. DO NOT come to the surgery or a pharmacy or a hospital. 

UPDATE ON APPOINTMENTS SYSTEM

Please note that GP appointments will continue to be telephone or video consultations for the foreseeable future.  Face-to-face appointments will be by invitation only.   Please DO NOT come to the surgery unless you have been asked to come in.

Most nursing appointments are available face-to-face, but long term condition reviews will be telephone consultations.

Both surgeries will remain open but the entry doors will remain locked.  If you have been asked to come in (following a telephone call from a clinician) please ring the intercom and a member of the team will assist you. 

FACE COVERINGS

If you do have an appointment to see a Nurse or are asked by a GP to come in, please bring your own face covering and wear this whilst in the surgery (all patients aged 3 or over).  A face covering should cover your mouth and nose while allowing you to breath comfortably.  It can be as simple as a scarf or bandana that ties behind the head.

PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS

Please note that normal repeat prescription ordering rules apply.  We will REJECT requests if more than 2 weeks before you are due to run out and normal quantities will be ordered when they are due. Thank you for your co-operation.

Prescription requests can be posted through the letterbox, requested via Patient Access or you can email your surgery.  If you are unable to request your prescription via any of these means, please telephone the surgery for advice.

ALL PRESCRIPTIONS ARE NOW BEING SENT DIRECTLY TO A PHARMACY. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHICH PHARMACY YOU WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT YOUR PRESCRIPTION FROM.
