Important Practice Update – Winter Pressures

Dear Patient,

Like many GP practices across the country, The Misbourne Practice is currently experiencing very high demand, which has been further impacted by seasonal winter illnesses and short-term staff sickness.

Our clinical and administrative teams are working extremely hard to continue providing safe, timely care for all our patients. At present:

Urgent medical problems are being prioritised for same-day assessment

Non-urgent routine appointments may take longer than usual to arrange

We may not always be able to offer a routine appointment immediately

Please be assured that all requests are carefully reviewed by our GPs, and patients are prioritised based on medical need to ensure those who require urgent care are supported promptly.

We expect these pressures to ease over the coming weeks, and we are actively putting additional measures in place to increase appointment capacity as soon as it is safe to do so.
